The Department of Health finalize the details of the campaign joint flu and covid vaccination. “We are working with Public Health, we are very anxious about the doses we receive. That will allow us to finish planning the dates and the procedure”, explains Julio García Comesaña, head of Health. The Council plans to close the organization of the campaign within a maximum period of two weeksto then start the administration.
The target population -elderly, chronically ill or immunosuppressed- will receive both vaccines. In the case of covid, this will be the fifth injection to protect yourself from the disease.
The management of sanitary area of Ourense, Verín and Valdeorras began contacting nursing staff interested in participating in the new vaccination campaign in July.
