On September 16, the day of the 115-year-old Nagybörzsöny light railway, visitors are welcomed with family programs, games, a fair atmosphere and culinary delights.
The event begins at 10 a.m. with a ceremony, wreath-laying and a vehicle presentation, where Mayor Paulik Oszkár and Board of Trustees Chairman Zoltán Berki will give a welcome address, read the 0627.hu website.
At the Nagybörzsöny terminus, as part of a family day, visitors are welcome with various programs throughout the day. There will also be hair-raising, a craft fair, crafts, face painting, a concert and a bouncy castle.
Papa Rap Jam will perform with a concert.
Nagybörzsöny railway station can be reached by car from Budapest on the M2 highway, then on route 12 via Verőce, Nagymaros, Zebegény, Szob, Ipolydamásd, Letkés, Ipolytölgyes. 0627.hu informs you that the light railway is located to the right of the Nagybörzsöny junction, across Fő tér at the end of Völgy utca.
