The last days of vacation and the glorious late summer weather invite you to enjoy Augsburg to the fullest. There is so much to experience in our city now: Swabia’s biggest folk festival, the Turamichele family festival, and the streets and squares awake to the sound of the pianos playing “Play me, I’m Yours”.
He’s waiting for you until September 10th Augsburger autumn blare with an abundance of Attractions, rides, delicious delicacies and incomparable moments for young and old. Whether you want to enjoy live music in the marquee or experience a breathtaking view from the Ferris wheel – the time to celebrate has come again!
While the little ones are looking forward to exciting carousel rides on the Plärrer, the next highlight in the center of Augsburg is already approaching: The Turamichele family festival on September 23rd and 24th. Thousands of eyes are looking forward to the city’s most famous tower, the Perlach Tower, when the Turamichele traditionally appears on the hour. Numerous attractions await you on the Rathausplatz, including a children’s rodeo, the fairytale tent, a bouncy bus, children’s play and an FCA campaign stand.
But not only the program promises excitement – also the balloon competition with hundreds of prizes with a total value of 10,000 euros will certainly cause enthusiasm.
And while we’re already talking about family attractions, here’s a tip: Have you heard of Dr. heard dachi? If you’re looking for interactive fun for you and your children, then you shouldn’t miss the radio play adventure “Searching for Tracks – Little Detectives Discover Augsburg’s Secrets”. Clear the stage for the new Play Me, I’m Yours pianos
The stage is already set for the new ones Play Me, I´m Yours – pianos. What would September in Augsburg be without them? Amidst the streets, squares and parks eleven beautifully designed pianos are just waiting for you to play them.
If you stroll through Augsburg until September 24th, you will have the opportunity to experience these pianos in completely new dimensions. You are cordially invited to sit down at one of the pianos or just listen to the talented artists. Find more information about the pianos and their locations this year here.
