TANGERANG – Jalan Kutai Health Center held a School Children’s Health Screening at SDN Bencongan II, Bencongan Indah Village, Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency. This is an effort to detect the health of school children early.
This health screening activity included Examination of Nails, Ears, Anthropometry, and School Nutritional Health Measures (UKGS) and was attended by 215 students from grade 1 to grade 6 of SD.
“Through this activity, we are trying to detect diseases or health problems in school children so that prevention can be done early on,” said the Head of the Jalan Kutai Health Center, dr. Maftuha Darojat.
The Jalan Kutai Health Center held a School Child Immunization Month (BIAS) for a number of students as an effort to prevent various diseases. “We also provide immunization for grade 1 students in the form of an MR vaccine as a prevention of measles and rubella,” he said.
Apart from that, special immunization for grade 5 students is also carried out by Jalan Kutai Health Center staff, namely in the form of administering the HPV vaccine as a prevention of Human Papilloma Virus Infection which is one of the causes of Cervical Cancer.
