The Federal Police – until 2005 the Federal Border Police – celebrated the opening of their location in Fuldatal six decades ago with an open day. A retired official remembers what it was like back then. Visitors could follow a simulated use of the GSG 9 or have technical equipment explained to them. In addition, the Federal Police campaigned for the offspring.
