Director of General Crimes Bareskrim National Police Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro said academician Rocky Gerung would be summoned to Bareskrim today.
Rocky’s summons was in the framework of a request for clarification in the case of the “stupid bastard” who was allegedly defamed by President Joko Widodo.
“Today’s plan, September 4, 2023, investigators will invite Brother Rocky Gerung to ask us for clarification,” said Djuhandhani in a written statement, Monday (4/9).
Furthermore, Djuhandhani explained that his party had followed up on 24 reports filed against Rocky Gerung in the same case.
“Of the 24 (twenty four) police reports, 72 (seventy two) witnesses and 13 (thirteen) experts have received BAI (Interview Reports),” explained Djuhandhani.
Previously, Djuhandhani said that Bareskrim Polri had examined a number of witnesses in the “stupid bastard” case that Rocky spoke of.
“Inspections have been carried out at the Dittipidum and the regions, because all investigators, both Dittipid and regional investigators, are involved,” said Djuhandhani when confirmed, Thursday (10/8).
However, at that time Djuhandhani admitted that he had not summoned Rocky because he had to complete the examination of witnesses first.
“Everything is still running, both Headquarters and Satwil, so I can’t explain for sure,” he explained.
“Not yet (schedule Rocky’s examination), we will first complete the evidence, witnesses and experts,” he said.
