The large asphalt paving project with a budget of four million euros, for which the contract was signed last July, begins on Monday.
In order to carry out the necessary work from September 4 to 10, the following traffic arrangements will be made:
-Divisional ban on traffic and vehicle parking on Averof, K. Karamanli streets and An. Papandreou square, as follows:
• On September 4, 2023 and September 5, 2023, traffic and vehicle parking ban on Democracy Square, from the junction with 28 Streetthe October to the signalized intersection of Bizaniou Street.
• From September 6, 2023 until September 8, parking and traffic ban on the upstream of Averof Street and Pl. Ann Papandreou, from the signalized intersection of Bizaniou Street to the junction of Averof and Ethniki Antistasos Streets.
• From September 9, 2023 and September 10, 2023, parking and vehicle traffic is prohibited on K. Karamanli Avenue, from the junction of Averof and Ethnikis Antistasos streets to Mavili Square
Finally, the movement of pedestrians and vehicles will be carried out through construction site markings.
