SP wins a municipal council seat at the expense of the SVP
Little surprise at the local council elections in Pieterlen. Heinrich Sgier (SVP, previously) loses his seat on the municipal council to Dorothee Hutzli (SP).

In Pieterlen, the five-member municipal council was elected at the ballot box on Sunday. The new municipal councilor Dorothee Hutzli achieved the best result of the ballot with 449 votes, ahead of party colleague Heinz Reber (421, so far) and the liberal municipal president Beat Rüfli with 401 votes.
