According to the content of the lawsuit, Chrome Hearts sued Zoetop Business, a subsidiary of SHEIN in the United States, and Shein US Services, alleging that it “manufactures, produces, markets, distributes, and sells products that are identical to or indistinguishable from the Chrome Hearts trademark.” The logo includes such famous images as Cemetery Cross Patch, CH Plus, and Dagger Design. To this end, Chrome Hearts seeks legal action to prohibit SHEIN from continuing to manufacture and sell these trademark-infringing products, and seeks damages of $2 million per trademark.
Coincidentally, in addition to H&M and Chrome Hearts, the Italian brand GCDS also accused SHEIN of stealing its designs in May this year; in July, three California artists also filed a lawsuit against SHEIN, and the case is still under trial.
