Today, Saturday, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad Nakhaleh, and the deputy head of the political bureau in the “Hamas” movement, Saleh Al-Arouri.
During their meeting, Sayyed Nasrallah, Nakhalah and Al-Arouri reviewed the latest developments and political developments, especially in occupied Palestine.
The tripartite meeting statement affirmed the firm position of all the forces of the resistance axis in confronting the Israeli occupation and its arrogance.
According to the joint statement, the importance of coordination and follow-up of all political, security and military developments and taking the appropriate decision was emphasized.
During the meeting, a joint assessment of the situation in the West Bank and the escalation of the resistance movement took place there. The importance of daily and permanent coordination and communication between the resistance movements, especially in occupied Palestine and Lebanon, was emphasized.
This comes at a time when the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, held a meeting in Beirut with the leaders of the Palestinian resistance from the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements.
He received the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Amir Abd Allahian, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Ambassador Mojtaba Amani, and they discussed political developments and developments in Lebanon and the region.
The tripartite meeting between Sayyed Nasrallah, Nakhalah, and Al-Arouri comes at a time when Benjamin Netanyahu threatened, in a session of the occupation government, to pursue the leaders of the resistance in “Gaza, the West Bank, and everywhere else.”
A picture of the deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri, in military uniform and in front of his rifle, was circulated, after the occupation prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, threatened to assassinate him.
The Israeli media stated that “the appearance of Saleh al-Arouri in a military uniform wants to say that he is running the war, that he is one of the resistance fighters and is ready to die as a martyr.”
In the context, the “Zaman Israel” website stated that the name of Saleh al-Arouri “was mentioned a lot recently, not only in the corridors of the security establishment, but also in the international media, especially in the Arab media.”
This comes at a time when the Occupied Palestinian Territories are witnessing a growing pace of resistance operations against the Israeli occupation and its settlers, and an unprecedented encroachment from the racist fascist government of Netanyahu and its continuous war against the Palestinian land, people and sanctities.
