Ashley Proaño Alcívar, representative of the Federico González Suárez school in the city of Durán, won the twenty-sixth edition of the Miss Colegial pageant, which was held on August 26 at the Guayaquil Civic Center Theater.
At the event, organized by GM. Classics&Company under the direction of Germán Muñoz Balladares, 17 young people from different educational institutions participated, of which they were as: third finalist Karelys Navia, from the Isla Santay Educational Unit (Durán); second runner-up, María Paula León, from the Speedwriting Educational Unit; and the viceroy, Solange Santos Reyes, from the Monsignor Francisco Dólera Educational Unit (Daule).
Proaño _like all previous queens, in coordination with the organization_, will carry out social work with the Valencia Integrations Foundation.
Among the awards that the young woman received are the crown and ribbon, and pre-university in the Civil Engineering career at the Santiago de Guayaquil Catholic University. Also, a smile design, a set of chains and earrings, among others.
The three best cheerdance choreographies of the contest were also chosen. The third place for the Saman Educational Unit, the second place for the Speedwriting Educational Unit, leaving the first place for the boys of the Cayetano Tarruel Educational Unit, being Enrique Vargas the choreographer in charge of the group.
The jury was made up of the choreographer and dancer Hugo Guerrero, and María Rosalba Pérez, academic director of the Jazz Dance School. While the catwalk preparation of the candidates and the opening was in charge of the choreographer Jonathan Valencia of the Valencia Integrations Foundation.
The evening dresses were exclusively designed by Yokomoda, and the cocktail dresses by Moda Marylin. (AND)
