The Italian defender started his professional career with Inter Milan
Union Berlin, Real Madrid’s competitor in the group stage of the Champions League, announced today, Friday, the signing of Italian international defender Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci (36 years old) had an additional year in his contract with Juventus, but he was outside the accounts of the team’s coaching staff. After opening the door to the possibility of his departure to another team, the player signed a contract to join the German team, which will participate for the first time in its history in the Champions League.
The Italian defender began his professional career with Inter Milan, with whom he participated in May 2006.
In 2007, he moved to Treviso on loan, then to Pisa, then to Bari, from whom he later moved to the “Bianconeri” for 15.5 million euros.
Bonucci played more than 500 official matches with Juventus, and won with him, among other tournaments, 9 titles in the Italian League, “Serie A”.
