Tickets for the debut of Argentina At the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, they sold out in two hours. The game between the world champion and Ecuador opens the way to the World Cup that will be organized by Concacaf.
The tickets went on sale exclusively online, on the DeporTick page, at 6:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. GMT) and two hours later there were no more tickets available, according to local media reports.

The match will be played on September 7 at 9:00 p.m. (00:00 GMT) at the Más Monumental Stadium, River Plate’s field, in Buenos Aires, which has a capacity for 84,000 spectators.

The cheapest tickets that went on sale are for minors (up to 10 years old) for a value of 11 thousand pesos (about 31 dollars at the current official exchange rate) and the following are the general ones, for a cost of 19 thousand pesos (54 dollars).
Tickets for the Sívori, San Martín and Belgrano high stands were put up for sale with a value of 39,000 pesos (about $111), while the tickets for the San Martín and Belgrano low and medium stands were priced at 87 thousand and 89 thousand pesos (about 248 and 254 dollars), respectively.
The expectation to see the debut of Lionel Scaloni’s team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers is maximum, as was the case when the Albiceleste returned from Qatar 2022 and played on March 23 against Panama, also in Buenos Aires.
