The Association for voluntary blood donation of Thionville and surroundings will welcome you with a smile for the blood drive which will be held at the socio-cultural center of Manom from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, September 4. Françoise Blottière, president of the association, is counting on the mobilization of all the inhabitants of Manom and the surrounding area in order “to obtain the number of pockets hoped for by the French Blood Establishment (EFS) in Metz, which is 55”. She recalls: “The need for blood products is constant, the summer period did not make it possible to fill in the number of missing donations, ie around 20,000 to 25,000. Around 1,500 blood donations are needed per day in the Grand Est region”.
To donate, you must be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh at least 50 kg, be in good health, bring photo ID. Possibility to make an appointment on EFS website.
