A 48-year-old man set fire to a haunted house belonging to his brother’s heirs, which would endanger people’s lives and money.
The accused’s brother said that on the day of the incident, July 10, he received a phone call from his accused brother, informing him that the neighbors told him that there were fires escalating from the heirs’ house, and they contacted the civil defense, so he went to the house whose fires were put out when he arrived.
And it was established in the civil defense report that the cause of the fire was fabricated by an active action, as by interrogating the accused, it was found that he was the one who set the fire in the staircase room, and that it was not the first time that he had set a fire in the house, indicating that he is used to burning the thoughts papers that he writes in front of the door of the house. And that on the day of the incident, the neighbors knocked on the door of the house and told him that there was a fire in the house, but he did not want to put it out.
While the Fourth High Criminal Court decided to postpone the case to the date of September 9, for review and pleading, and authorized the present defense to copy the papers, while the accused continued to be imprisoned.
