As part of its annual road network maintenance program, the Department of Maine-et-Loire will undertake road repair work in Baugé-en-Anjou. This project will concern rue des Docteurs Thuau and avenue du Général de Gaulle (RD 938 route de Longué-Jumelles).
This section is used daily by 9,000 vehicles.
In order to minimize inconvenience for users and local activity, this work will take place during the nights of September 4 to 13.
Alternating traffic lights will be set up, with the exception of a section of Avenue du Général de Gaulle between Rue de Bellevue and the Demi-lune roundabout. It will be closed on the three nights of September 4, 5 and 12 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
A local detour will be offered via rue de Bellevue, chemin du Rancan and rue du Maréchal Foch.
This operation was entrusted to the company TPPL for an amount of €320,000.
This work will also be accompanied by safety improvements, with the creation of a raised platform at 15 avenue du Général de Gaulle.
An alternation of traffic has been planned for the days of September 5 and 6 to allow for the preparatory work.
The construction of this platform will then be finalized during the night of September 11 with the repair of the roadway.
