Navigate with caution in the said area and avoid sailing in areas prone to thunderstorms. For small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should also refrain from leaving the shore.

Incidentally, typhoon “Saola” (SAOLA) in the upper South China Sea. It is expected to move closer to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
