The Dominican People Will Not Re-elect Hunger or Improvisation: Leonardo Suero

EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The lawyer and communicator Leonardo Suero assured this Thursday that the Dominican people are not going to re-elect hunger or the improvisation in which they have been subjected during the Government of change.

Likewise, he considered that President Luis Abinader has not done anything for which the citizens re-elect him as head of state, and on the contrary, during his administration there have been more expensive food prices and higher levels of insecurity than in earlier times.

“People are not going to re-elect hunger, the improvisations of this government that has taken 30 billion dollars and is going to 40 thousand because it is an average of 10 billion dollars per year and it is not seen in important infrastructure works” he expressed.

Suero made his comments on the “Políticas Nuevas” program, broadcast on the digital platform El Nuevo Diario TV.

In this context, the communicator warned the re-election team that, in addition to getting those who voted for Abinader in the 2020 elections to do so again, they will have to conquer the Dominicans who made up a 44.7% abstention.

Also, Suero considered that the president’s re-election team is in a “panic” after the announcement of the Alianza Opositora Rescate RD, and that is why they have begun to carry out political actions.

In this sense, he maintained that the communication platform “LA Semanal con la prensa” that the president will carry out every Monday at 4:30 PM, in the Salón de las Cariátides, is part of a “political” campaign.

“All of this is politicking, all of this is political campaign and clientelism, in the cases that public resources are used to benefit the president. Why didn’t the president do that from the beginning? What happens is that after the Alliance That this has been announced has the re-election team in a panic,” he said.
