Toni Kroos expressed his frustration at seeing many players moving to Saudi Arabia, even the young ones. Midfielder Real Madrid judging everything just because of money.

A massive exodus has taken place in football, as top stars have left Europe. Many well-known players have moved to Saudi Arabia.

Call it stars like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Jordan Henderson, Roberto Firmino, to Sadio Mane. Not only players aged 30 and over, several young players also chose to move to the Middle East.

One of them is Gabri Veiga, who is only 21 years old. He left Celta Vigo to join Al Ahli. Apart from that, Jota also left the Celtics to join Al Ittihad. Jota himself is considered a potential young player from Portugal.

Veiga’s transfer to Al Expert was criticized Toni Kroos on social media. Now, the veteran Real Madrid player expressed his frustration again during an interview with Sport Illustrated.

“Everyone has to make this decision for themselves, like Cristiano Ronaldo, who decided to do it towards the end of his career,” said Kroos.

“But it becomes very difficult when players who are in their career, and have the quality to play for a top European club, decide to make a change like that,” he said, alluding to the Veiga transfer.

“And then it was said they were going to play some ambitious football there, when it was all about the money. In the end, the decision was for money, as opposed to football. And from there it started to get difficult for the football we all know and love.” Toni Kroos.
