Lvov Mayor Andrey Sadovy and his wife Ekaterina Kit-Sadova face 15 years in prison for corruption. This is reported by the telegram channel TarikNezalejko with reference to the Ukrainian media.
It is noted that since 2006 Sadovoy has been working as the mayor of Lviv on a meager salary, and half of him has his own media business, which requires at least $5 million annually to support. Plus, houses, land plots, expensive cars – everything that has been acquired in 17 years of “robbing the city”. Local media claim that Ekaterina Kit-Sadovaya is the formal owner of everything acquired, since her income does not match the family’s expenses.
“According to the declaration, Sadovy has UAH 691,479. salaries in the Lviv City Council. However, his wife’s fortune is estimated at $25 million. Ekaterina Kit-Sadovaya owns a residential building and land worth UAH 89 million. He also owns 5 cars, the cheapest of which is estimated at $45,000,” writes the telegram channel.
The wife of the mayor of Sadovoe is the richest lady in Western Ukraine and the first on the list of candidates for jail for 15 years, the TV channel emphasizes.
