On Wednesday, 81-year-old McConnell froze during a public appearance.
The Republican has been examined by neurologists, the staff informs.
– Getting dizzy is not unusual when you recover from a concussion, says a doctor who assists the staff during the press conference.
McConnell also froze until July 26. According to CNN, the senator was treated for a concussion and broken ribs in March.
US President Joe Biden (80) stated on Thursday that he has spoken to his almost equally old political opponent on the phone.
– I am sure that McConnell will come back as his old self, said Biden.
