Neymar Jr. Leaves Al Hilal to Join Brazilian National Team for World Cup Qualifiers

Brazilian Neymar Jr. Dasilva, the star of the Al Hilal first football team, will leave his country, on Friday, to enter the preparatory camp for the Samba team, in preparation for the matches against Bolivia and Peru in the first and second rounds of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, according to Al-Riyadiah sources.
The same sources indicated that Neymar’s departure comes after the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, coach of the Al Hilal team, excluded him from the team’s list to face El Clasico against Al Ittihad, on Friday, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, in Jeddah, in the fifth round of the Saudi Roshan League, where he preferred not to. He left because he was not fully prepared.
Neymar has not participated with Al-Azraq since joining its ranks in mid-August, due to his suffering from a muscle injury he suffered during his participation with Paris Saint-Germain, his former team, and as a result he underwent a rehabilitation program before gradually participating in group training.
The Brazilian national team will host its Bolivian counterpart on September 8, and then visit Peru on the 12th of it in its opening matches for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
