Herbert Rogenhofer, who has been a member of the Management Board of HDI Germany since 2021 and Chairman of the Management Board of HDI Versicherung, will retire next year. His successor will be Axa manager Daniel Schulze Lammers. The two will continue to manage HDI Versicherung together until mid-2024, after which Rogenhofer’s mandates will expire.
Lammers brings with him extensive experience in property insurance. He has managed Axa’s private customer business for the past six years, was a member of the board of directors of Axa’s direct insurer and is currently responsible for industrial business. He is also already familiar with HDI: in 2016 he was Head of Product Management for property.
“Experienced manager”
For Jens Warkentin, head of HDI Germany, the future CEO of HDI Versicherung is the right man: “Daniel Schulze Lammers is a trained division manager from scratch and I know him as a technically very curious and goal-oriented person. I am very pleased that in Daniel Schulze Lammers we have been able to recruit a highly respected expert and an experienced manager.”
Acting CEO Herbert Rogenhofer is also looking forward to his successor. “In my opinion, Daniel Schulze Lammers ensures continuity and that is important for our organization. He is a subject matter expert, knows our portfolio well and has since gained a lot of experience,” praises the 59-year-old. As a result, Lammers is well prepared to lead the company into a successful future, according to Rogenhofer.
