Update – New Switch officially revealed
Billbil-kun was right again. The special Nintendo Switch OLED for Super Mario Bros. Wonder was revealed by Nintendo during the Direct held today. The show was all about the new Super Mario game.

Perhaps Nintendo’s biggest game for this fall is Super Mario Bros. Miracle. A major new title in one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises seems like a good time for a new version of the Switch. According to Dealabs user Car-only Nintendo thinks so too.
The leaker says a new Switch OLED is on the way, not too long before Mario Bros. Miracle appears. Both Joy-Cons of this Switch are red and so are the dock and possibly the system’s volume buttons. There would be no further Mario images on the device.
The console would be sold as Nintendo Switch – OLED Model – Mario Red Edition. According to Billbil-kun, the console will appear before October. Usually, special editions of the Switch come out about two weeks before the corresponding game, which would mean that this Switch should be released on October 6. But the original Super Mario Bros. appeared in September, so Nintendo may want to coincide the release of this console with that anniversary.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder gets its own Nintendo Direct
We may soon know whether this special Switch OLED is indeed coming. Tomorrow there will be a Nintendo Direct that is all about Super Mario Bros. Miracle. Usually leaks from Billbil-kun are accurate, so if you’re interested in a special Mario-Switch, the Direct might be worth checking out.
