U-17 Indonesian National Team Loses to South Korea: Erick Thohir Sees Positive Improvement

U-17 Indonesian National Team lost 0-1 to South Korea in a test match. Head of PSSI Erick Thohir see, the Milky Way’s troops have begun to cohere.

U-17 Indonesian national team vs South Korea took place at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Wednesday (30/8) evening. The trial match was won by South Korea with a score of 1-0.

South Korea’s goal was created in the 66th minute, when Jin Taeho’s pass from the left was pushed over by Ikram Al Giffari. The loose ball fell to Baek Ga-on who immediately grabbed it for a goal.

“I think there is a very significant improvement where we look at the pattern of play. If it’s time in Bali, it’s not patterned. If now it’s starting to be patterned, how do we meet behind us, then to the middle, on top of it (front line) that must be corrected because of an attack. going back several times has become the real momentum,” said Erick as quoted from the PSSI official website.

“Drawing in the first half against the second-ranked Asian team, that’s a good thing, but it’s a 90-minute ball game, we have to focus,” he added.

Furthermore, U-17 Indonesian National Team will undergo a training camp in Germany. The Garuda squad will also take part in the U-17 World Cup with Indonesia as the host, playing dates from 10 November to 2 December.
