Juventus have reportedly signed Livano Comenencia from PSV Eindhoven: here’s the profile of the 19-year-old right-back.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Comenencia will join the Old Lady for €1m plus an additional €2m. He will train and play with the NextGen team, but first-team coach Massimiliano Allegri will keep a ‘close eye’ on the promising right-back.
Born in Breda, Netherlands on February 3, 2004, Comenencia didn’t make his PSV debut before signing for Juventus.
He has one goal and two assists in 60 appearances for PSV’s U21 side and made his debut for the Netherlands U20 side last March.
According to the Gazzetta, Juventus tried to sign Abdoulaye Kamara from Borussia Dortmund but the Bundesliga refused to sell the French midfielder for €1million plus performance bonuses. Therefore, the Serie A giants then turned their attention to Comenencia.
The 19-year-old can also play as a centre-back or a defensive midfielder. He is a PSV Academy product having joined the club from TVC Breda in 2012 when he was just eight years old.
Juventus are expected to confirm his signing within the next two days.
