Johansson to SC II
SC Freiburg signs Ryan Johansson for the U-23 team. The 22-year-old moves from FC Sevilla to Breisgau. Born in Luxembourg, he initially completed his training in the youth departments of Racing FC Union Luxembourg, FC Metz and FC Bayern Munich. In 2020 he joined the second representation of FC Sevilla. Since then he has played in a total of 38 games in the third and fourth highest leagues in Spain. During his interim loan to Fortuna Sittard, the 1.84 m tall midfielder featured in six games in the Eredivisie, the highest league of the Dutch Football Association, and in two games in the Dutch Cup competition.
