KOTAMOBAGU, KOMPAS.TV- A total of 124 cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever were found in the city area of Kotamobagu-North Sulawesi in 2023. The Kotamobagu Health Office stated that the Kotamobagu area had the status of an extraordinary occurrence of dengue fever.
On average, dengue fever patients come to the Kotamobagu Regional General Hospital complaining of high fever for more than three to four days which affects children, including adults.
Compared to the previous year, there were 74 cases of DHF in Kotamobagu, while in 2023 it increased to 124 cases so that the Kotamobagu Health Office will coordinate with the Kotamobagu Government to raise the status to an extraordinary event.
In addition to carrying out epidemiological investigations to identify the nature of the causes or sources and ways of transmission that can influence the emergence of outbreaks, the Health Office also through the health center conducts socialization to the community.
