BBVA has opened a YouTube channel aimed at children to expand the educational content of the ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030 KIDS’ program, within the framework of its ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030’ project, with the aim of positioning itself on channels adapted to children, such as YouTube Kids, TikTok or Instagram, as reported by the financial institution in a statement.
The videos of the first season of the program, which have accumulated 225 million views since its broadcast in 2022 on the general channel of ‘AAJJ 2030’, have already been incorporated into the new YouTube channel in its children’s version, as detailed by the corporation .
Regarding the second season of ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030 KIDS’, which will be launched in October, the bank has confirmed that the protagonists will continue to be Beta and Mario, who will lead the different sustainability challenges with the help of the Mexican actor Poncho Herrera, and as a novelty in this new season, the Spanish singer and actress Angy Fernández.
New guests will pass through the new interview section, such as the Spanish basketball player Ricky Rubio, the Mexican children’s ‘youtuber’ Regi Chou, the Spanish content creator Charly Okei or the Panamanian ‘influencer’ Susi Mouriz.
In addition, BBVA has announced that the magician of social networks, Inmagic, will once again present its tricks in the ‘It has magic’ section; cartoonist Salva Espín will recover the space ‘That doesn’t exist’; and the chef Jordi Roca will contribute his knowledge in healthy nutrition and cooking for use.
“The KIDS program has exceeded our expectations and has been very well received by boys, girls, fathers and mothers who have followed the first season,” said BBVA’s global head of digital marketing and sales, Carlos Pérez Beruete, since the project accumulates more than 2,700 million views and a community of 7.6 million subscribers.
Likewise, Pérez Beruete has affirmed that they seek to reach more people “with a catalog of high-quality content, various formats and taking advantage of the properties of the new platform.”
The financial entity points out that YouTube KIDS has its own application for mobile devices and tablets that guarantees a “safe and appropriate selection” of the content accessed by minors. In this sense, it indicates that the videos that are published in this version go through a series of “stricter” filters that ensure the proper use of language, the type of images or the messages that are shared.
In addition, it points out that families have tools to control consumption time, select the age group, deactivate the search option or notify inappropriate videos.
