NRK can now show a new satellite image from the discovery site on the forest road in Nes in Ådal. The photo was taken on the day of the murder and was previously unknown to the police.
– This is relevant information in the case, says police attorney Tine Henriksen to NRK.
The image is the only one the Airbus satellite has from the area on the day of the murder.
The 30-year-old was driving a white Mercedes Sprinter, in which he was found dead at 5pm on Thursday 17 August.
Pictures of the car
Two and a half months before the murder, Henriksen shared pictures of, among other things, this car on Facebook. Henriksen said that he was exposed to repeated episodes of threats, violence, vandalism and fires.
“I didn’t really want to share this earlier to avoid a possible escalation, but this nightmare has become so bad now that I need all the help I can get,” he wrote himself on Facebook.
THE CAR: Jonas Aarseth Henriksen himself shared this photo of his car on 4 June this year. The car is a Mercedes Sprinter and the tire was flat.

The owner of the cabin where Henriksen was found has previously told NRK that she did not know Jonas Aarseth Henriksen, or what he did in the area.
Henriksen had 50,000 followers on TikTok under the name “LastebilJonas”. He owned a trucking company and also engaged in well drilling. A question has been whether he was there for work?
A central theory has been whether he may have been tricked into the discovery site, either through a fake job assignment or in some other way.
A murder scene has been found
Previously, the police have repeated that it is important for the investigation to find the central crime scene.
The police now confirm for the first time that they know where and when Aarseth Henriksen was killed.
– We have a clear idea of where and when the murder happened, but do not want to comment anything more about it now, says police attorney Henriksen.

No one has been arrested in the case, and the police call it a complicated case where they are working with a number of hypotheses.
According to NRK, the 30-year-old was found shot. It was a concerned friend who found him. He had tried several times to get hold of Henriksen without success. Henriksen must have shared where he was, so his friend went up to look.
Photo taken 700 kilometers from Earth
The police have on several occasions asked people to send pictures and video from the area and the roads around Vestre Bjonevatnet, where the dead were found on the forest road leading to a cabin.
– We are in an early phase and gathering information is important, both for tactical and technical investigation, says Henriksen.
It is not often that desolate areas such as the forest in Nes in Ådal in Ringerike are imaged by satellites. The last time will be in June this year.
On 17 August at 12:26, the area was cloudless and the satellite Spot 6, which was sent up on 9 September 2012, took a high-resolution image 700 kilometers away from Earth.
The image NRK has gained access to shows 10 x 10 kilometers of the area. The company Airbus owns the image. As a rule, the pictures are taken with a width of 60 kilometers.
