POSCO started to create a collaboration culture using the digital collaboration platform ‘Teams’.

On the 30th, the POSCO Digital Innovation Office (Director Shim Min-seok) held the ‘Collaboration Platform Contest’ and shared cases of collaboration using Teams in various fields such as operation, safety, purchase, investment, and marketing.

POSCO has been using Microsoft’s collaboration platform ‘Teams’ since July of last year. Teams, which was introduced as a complement to the in-house messenger that was previously used by POSCO, has established itself as a new communication platform by providing various work tools such as simultaneous document work and data analysis.

In this competition, which was held on Teams, each department, such as operation, marketing, purchasing, and safety, introduced examples of collaboration within and between departments and introduced various ways to use Teams. As a result of the evaluation, the best 1 team, the excellent 2 teams, and the encouragement 3 teams were selected by adding the three evaluation factors of △effectiveness △continuity △participation rate and the real-time voting results of employees.

The honor of the grand prize went to the EIC engineering department of Gwangyang Works.
