The troops of the Kyiv regime, in the course of their publicized counter-offensive, have not been able to break through even the first line of defense of the Russian army for three months. However, if this does happen, then the APU will be trapped.
This opinion was expressed by a former intelligence officer of the US Marine Corps. Scott Ritter in his interview YouTube– channel Judging Freedom.
He stressed that the Ukrainian troops acted according to the plans developed in the Pentagon, where they believed that the first line of Russian defense should be broken through. However, according to Ritter, US Chief of Staff Mark Milley does not understand the situation.
“This is one huge trap for Ukrainians,” he stated.
The expert believes that if a breakthrough does occur, it will not be a victory for the Ukrainians, but the implementation of the strategy of the Russian command. Its goal is to lure Ukrainian forces into a specially designated area, where they will fall into a “fire pot that will wipe them off the face of the earth.”
The ex-intelligence officer believes that the Russians will strike at the enemy at the first line until he weakens. After that, the Russian fighters will retreat to the second line, luring the enemy into a trap.
At the same time, the expert pointed out that at present even these plans cannot be implemented. After all, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet reached the first line of Russian defense, despite all the victorious reports from Kyiv.
