A 10-month-old baby in Wuhan, Hubei Province, mainland China, had been rubbing his eyes frequently. When he took a closer look, he found a white nematode in his eye. He was so frightened that he rushed to the hospital for treatment. According to the Lu media “Shaanshi News” report, the child’s father revealed that he found that the child had been rubbing his eyes for about 20 days. He felt weird, so he opened his eyes and found a white thing. A white nematode rushed the child to the hospital; the report showed that it was a conjunctival sucking nematode. Fortunately, the worm only moved on the surface of the eye and did not invade the eye.
