Gina Fiandaca, secretary of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, will step down after just eight months on the job.
The Boston Globe reported Monday that Fiandaca’s last day will be September 11. She is the first cabinet member appointed by Governor Maura Healey to leave her administration.
Fiandaca is expected to continue to play an advisory role until the end of the year.
This is a developing story. Pending updates.
