The Center’s celebration of this occasion, which falls on August 28 of each year, confirms the main role that Emirati women play in the cultural system of the Center in order to achieve its goals and embody its strategy, through which it continues its religious, cultural and civilizational role in achieving intellectual openness, coexistence and respect for the other, and conveying the image Civilization of the UAE, and the delivery of its message calling for the promotion of tolerance and coexistence and building bridges of cultural and civilizational rapprochement between the various cultures of the world.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Youssef Al-Obaidly, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, said: “The center’s efforts came to empower Emirati women and provide them with opportunities to contribute effectively as a strategic partner in all areas of development, as an extension of the efforts of the wise leadership and its wise vision. Since its establishment, Emirati women have found their place The prominent figure in the center’s work system, which gave her great attention, enabled her and provided her with opportunities to remain present in the civilized scene of the mosque and presented the bright image of the daughter of the Emirates. from different cultures of the world, and participated in conferences inside and outside the country, and distinguished itself in presenting religious and cultural programs and chains through which the mosque transmits its message in spreading values and reviving the heritage of Islamic civilization and contributes to building generations, and it stood honorably in the fields of volunteering and giving to serve the visitors of the mosque, so it proved its leadership And its ability to assume responsibility and complete the work and tasks entrusted to it with high efficiency and professionalism in various administrative, media, cultural and other fields.
His Excellency stressed that the Emirati women in the center harnessed the capabilities and energies to highlight the immortal cultural heritage of the UAE and the values of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul in peace – and to present the civilized face of the state and its moderate approach. Promoting and disseminating the values of the true Islamic religion and lofty concepts on which the UAE has been established since its founding.
He added: “We, at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, are proud of the achievements of the daughter of the Emirates, which qualified her to ascend the platforms of excellence locally and globally, and we affirm our commitment to continue supporting her and highlighting her role in the comprehensive and sustainable development of the country.”
On this occasion, Amal Bamtarf, Director of the Department of Civilizational Communication at the Center, praised the continuous support that Emirati women enjoy in the UAE and at the Center. What I have achieved since the inception of the Union to this day in terms of progress and excellence is a testament to the wise visions established by Sheikh Zayed, and pursued by our wise leadership and the society of the UAE.
