NASA Scientist Claims Alien Life Found on Planet Venus: Surprising Revelations

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Aliens are believed to live not far from Earth. According to research scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Michelle Thaller, life can be found on the planet Venus.

“I believe we will find life on other planets. I think in our Solar System we are so close but not 100% sure,” said Thaller, quoted from Mirror, Monday (28/8/2023).

He believes what he is looking for from extraterrestrial life is on Venus. The search for life is only a matter of time.

“I never expected Venus. Venus is now a place where we see something in the atmosphere that looks like it was produced by bacteria,” said Thaller.

Thaller’s belief in the existence of life on Venus is quite surprising. The reason is, the planet’s environment does not support humans living there.

The distance between Venus and the Sun is 67 million miles or 107.8 million km. This makes the surface temperature very hot, even reaching 475 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, it is 41 million miles from Earth.

The atmosphere also contains toxic acids, unsupportive of humans living there. Namely composed of sulfuric acid and carbon dioxide that prevent heat from escaping from the planet.

The Thaller hypothesis has also been refuted by University College of London atribiologist Dominic Papineau. According to him there needs to be liquid water found outside the Earth to prove the existence of life there.

“For the chemical reactions associated with life to take place, liquid water is needed. Therefore, to find life outside Earth, it is necessary to find liquid water and to find fossils outside Earth, it is necessary to look for sedimentary rocks that had contact with liquid water in the past. then,” he explained.
