Massive plan to deport illegal residents in Kuwait; Two schools to become deportation centers KUWAIT CITY> The Ministry of Interior is launching a comprehensive deportation plan to deport all residency violators, including expatriates who harbor or hide information about them, a local newspaper reports. Indigenous citizens and companies that harbor or harbor violators face legal consequences. The Ministry of Interior has officially requested the Ministry of Education to take over two disused schools in Jalib al-Shuyukh and Khaitan as detention centers for expatriates who have violated residency rules. Currently, the country’s smuggling centers and lock-ups are overcrowded due to the stringent security checks that are being conducted across the country. Apart from this, the Ministry has prepared a plan to strengthen the security checks in the coming days and collect the information of the persons violating the law through the relevant departments within the Ministry of Home Affairs and then find those who have violated the residence rules. The ministry will increase security patrols in areas such as Jalib Al-Shuyukh, Khaitan, Farwaniya, Mahboola, Anghara, Al-Masra and Al-Jawakhir to arrest lawbreakers and deport them from Kuwait.
