Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka opened his voice about the existence of a billboard with a picture of him and the future presidential candidate as well as the chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto in Labuan Bajo. Gibran said that no one had asked permission from him regarding the installation of his photo on the billboard.
“Yes, we coordinated yesterday, especially those in Labuan Bajo who didn’t have permission, Yo Mengko (later) followed up too, permission to me, yes, put up my photo, it will be followed up later,” Gibran said. detikJatengMonday (28/6/2023).
According to him, the billboard supporting him as Prabowo Subianto’s running mate is only in Labuan Bajo. Gibran himself admitted that he did not know anything about the installation.
“As far as I know, I’m new there, Labuan Bajo. Takok kono is cooked (ask those who are installed) I don’t know,” he said.
President Jokowi’s son also emphasized that he had never directed volunteers to put up billboards like that. According to him, volunteers have their own initiative to put up the billboards.
“I have never (never) directed what kind of volunteers to do, it’s my own initiative,” he said.
