According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple’s next event dedicated to the presentation of the iPhone 15, Apple Watch Series 9 and other new products will be held on September 12. It is expected that it will be possible to pre-order the purchase of new Apple devices on September 15, and their sales will begin on September 22.
The announcement said that the structure of the upcoming event will follow last year’s iPhone 14 presentation, which means that a pre-recorded video presentation will be streamed online as well as to Apple guests at the company’s headquarters. Participants invited to the face-to-face event will be able to evaluate the capabilities of the new iPhone and Apple Watch live after the presentation.
It is also expected that in October of this year, Apple will present another new product. We are talking about the first Mac computers with an Apple M3 processor. However, at the moment it is not known whether the company plans to hold a separate event for the presentation of these new products.
In addition to hardware, Apple continues to prepare for the launch of iOS 17 and watchOS 10. Typically, stable versions of iOS are released a few days after the iPhone is unveiled, so you can expect iOS 17 and watchOS 10 to arrive in mid-September. Last week, Apple released the seventh betas of iOS 17 and watchOS 10, confirming that the stable versions of the software are coming soon. The sixth beta version of macOS Sonoma was also recently released, but the launch of the stable version of the OS will most likely take place no earlier than October.
As for the upcoming event, along with the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9, we should expect the second generation of Watch Ultra smartwatches. Perhaps this event will not be as groundbreaking as the June presentation, in which the Vision Pro mixed reality headset was announced. However, smartphones and smartwatches make the company much more money and make up the majority of sales, at least for the time being.
