From three sources from the Ústí Region, the PrahaIN.cz editors managed to find out what could be happening with the Aftercare Department (ONP) of Zahražany in Most. It is an area where doctors specializing in internal medicine, nurses and nurses provide professional care.

It takes place as standard in a hospital. Care is continuous, visits are made on a daily basis, all technology is available, such as EKG, ultrasound, massage baths, inhalers, laser for the treatment of diseases of the locomotor system, biolamps and the like.

It is simply not a depreciated workplace.

All the more so because a few years ago, the area was renovated.

Now, however, the Mostec hospital, which belongs to Krajská zdravotní, as (the only shareholder is the Ústí Region), is gripped by fear and concern for the future. “We were told the building was going to be sold, so that’s something to consider,” our first source said. He has been working in a higher position at the Mostek hospital for years.

“I was told this by the management of Regional Health,” he added.

Our other two sources, this time from the political environment of the Ústí Region, know about the plan. That is, they heard about him. “Your information is true but incomplete. As far as I know, there has been talk for a long time that the building would be sold, but the current operation would understandably be preserved,” one of the coalition representatives told PrahaIN.cz.

What will be?

Paradoxically, this could lead to a situation where the current department would become a prisoner in its own house. The new owner would decide on the amount of the possible rent. “Are you describing Agel’s strategy? In this case, it is very, very premature,” the politician added.

They are also fogging the Regional Health Service.

“Krajská zdravotní, a.s. is definitely not selling the Aftercare Department located on the grounds in Zahražany,” company spokeswoman Jana Mrákotová told the editors. However, she confirmed that Regional Health had an expert report drawn up on the valuation of the area.

According to our information, the author of the opinion is Vladimír Hůda. He did not respond to our questions until the release of the material.

“Within the elaborated generals (of total projects, note ed.) development of the Regional Health Service, it is possible that the expert opinion was processed. The development is still under discussion,” the governor of the Ústí Region, Jan Schiller (ANO), told the editors of PrahaIN.cz.

The reason for the assessment is supposed to be the already completed project of the Mostec hospital, when in the future it is planned to move the Department of Aftercare directly to the premises of the Mostec hospital.

“But we are really talking about the future, not the present time and the current situation. However, it is more than necessary to maintain the efficiency of the operation of the Mostá hospital. If no other, meaningful and economically efficient use is found for this area directly within the Mostec hospital, the sale may take place,” concluded the regional health spokeswoman, adding that the area has not yet been offered to anyone.

The management of Most Hospital did not want to answer direct questions regarding the possible sale of the premises in Zahražany.
