Oops, that almost went wrong…
Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela Roccuzzi (35) is currently making a viral hit with a curious scene. Apparently, the Argentine wanted to kiss the wrong player after Inter Miami’s semi-final win in the US Open Cup against FC Cincinnati (5:4 penalties).
Antonela went to the field with her children to celebrate reaching the final with her husband. She first approached Miami defender Jordi Alba (34), whom she probably mistook for Messi (36). She started to kiss, but then she noticed her faux pas just in time. Both laughed at the mix-up and hugged before Antonela continued the search for her husband. The short video of the scene went through the roof in the following days and was clicked millions of times.

After beating Cincinnati, Messi, Alba & Co. have the chance to win the second title in a very short time. Just a few days ago, Inter Miami won the Leagues Cup against Nashville SC for Hany Mukhtar from Berlin (10:9 on penalties). On September 27th, the team from Florida will now compete in the US Open Cup. Opponent is then Houston Dynamo.
