Democratic presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. supported the thesis expressed in an article by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova in Komsomolskaya Pravda about the destructiveness of depleted uranium munitions that Washington supplies to Ukraine.
“We are destroying Ukraine in the name of saving it. A sobering article is an article about depleted uranium ammunition,” the politician commented on Zakharova’s text on Saturday on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Kennedy promised to end this problem if elected president of the United States. “Needless to say, if elected president, I will put an end to this reckless, inhumane policy,” he said.
On June 13, The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States had decided to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium tank ammunition. In the spring, London announced its intention to transfer such shells to Kiev. As Russian President Vladimir Putin warned in March, commenting on the decision of the British authorities, Moscow will be forced to respond adequately to the fact that the collective West is beginning to use weapons with a nuclear component.
