In the lead since the day before, Megan Kang is slowly but surely heading towards a first victory on the great American circuit. Sunday in the 4th round, she will start again in the last part but this time with a relatively comfortable lead of 3 moves over her closest pursuer, the South Korean Sei Young Kim author of the best map of the 3rd round on the course of the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, Canada.

Cards under 70 were rare on Saturday and several favorites suffered a sharp drop in the rankings. This is the case of Nelly Korda (75), or Lydia Ko (82) but also from Sweden Lynn Grant (76) and the American prodigy Rose Zhang (78). Only the world number 4 Jin Young Ko remains in ambush in 3rd place but 5 shots behind the leader.
Fairly solid for the first two-thirds of the run Celine Boutier conceded two bogeys at the end which made him lose several places. The world number 3 is now ranked 24th, 12 strokes behind Khang.
Among the Habs, special mention to Pauline Roussin-Bouchard who signed no less than 6 birdies on Saturday. The native of Montélimar also made a mistake 3 times with in particular a costly double bogey on the 2nd par 5 of the first leg.
After two cards over par, this 70 allowed him to climb into the top third of the standings.
In delicacy on his green attacks (7/18) Perrine Delacour lost 45 places and could not do better than a score of 79. Passed in 40 in the first leg, the player from Aisne sees her chances of second top 10 of the season fly away.
Recall that Friday, Céline Herbin had not crossed the cut.
