Hamburg’s Eva Lys completes the field of German tennis players at the US Open in New York, which begins on Monday. The 21-year-old won the third qualifying round on Saturday 6-2, 6-1 against the American McCartney Kessler and secured her place as the fifth German in the field of 128 participants.
