Two fires continue to burn in the Burgas region, BNR reported.
Three fire-fighting vehicles with firefighters and two vehicles with forest officials extinguish the fire near the village of Belevren near the Bulgarian-Turkish border. There, in a hard-to-reach area, a deciduous forest is burning.
The fight against the fire continues between the Sozopol villages of Rosen and Ravna Gora, where a barn with animals also caught fire.
The fire between the villages of Ravna Gora and Rosen, where 4 fire engines were sent, is more specific, said the director of the Regional Office for Fire Safety and Protection of the Population, Commissioner Nikolay Nikolaev:
“There, in addition to dry grass and forest, a pen with animals got caught. There are also bales of straw in the pen. Colleagues are working and we hope to locate it soon. I have no information about the animals.”
Work on extinguishing the fire near Belevren is difficult because of the difficult-to-access area that the fire has covered.
The other two fires – at the station in Karnobat and in the village of Tranak in Rue – have been extinguished, said the mayors of the two municipalities, Georgi Dimitrov and Izmail Osman.
