The “Bunch Mark” theater in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, witnessed the “Night of Tears” concert, the most prominent of which was the participation of the artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, in the presence of a large audience.
The concert lasted for more than 5 hours of singing, and the “Soul of the East” choir opened the night with the songs “Patience is Beautiful” and “I am Designed” by Bahaa Sultan.
After that, the singer Ahmed Kamel took to the stage, because he is one of the most prominent performers of the sad, dramatic song among his generation of young people, and he performed one of his songs “On My Eyes” and “Say Me.” Singer Musallam started his performance with the song “I Forget”, followed by “Heart in the Books” and “We Don’t Regret”, amid great public interaction, as the audience kept repeating the lyrics of his songs with him.
After the paragraphs for young singers ended, the popular singer Tariq Al-Sheikh presented a set of sad songs, which have achieved wide popularity over the past years, including “Al-Hayat Street”, and he also performed the famous song “Book of My Life Ya Ain” by the late singer Hassan Al-Asmar. The audience interacted with the singer Haitham Shaker, who started with the song “Kent Madawini”, followed by a group of his most prominent dramatic songs, such as “One Reason”, before the artist Adam appeared, performing the songs “Ali Bali”, “Tell me to eat the forbidden”, “ This is me,” and “the story is over.”
As for the singer Hamada Helal, he performed during the ceremony one of the most famous sad songs, which is “Tears”, which has achieved wide popularity over the past years, and he also sang “Everything I Think About You”. This was followed by the singer Ahmed Saad ascending the stage, to sing a group of his dramatic songs, most notably “My words are over”, “I have no place”, “I miss myself”, “I asked myself”, to end his singing segment by presenting a “duet” with the artist Tamer Ashour, entitled “ dictate” and “selfish.”
The appearance of Tamer Ashour came in the last paragraph of the “Night of Tears” concert, as he presented a variety of his dramatic songs, which he has always been famous for, and achieved great public success, including the song “Tell Him to Allow Him,” “Where Were,” “Haji Ala Nafsi,” “I Lived Stories With You,” “It Was a Subject,” “Who Believes You,” “The Conclusion of the Story,” and “He Says It’s Normal.”
Sherine Abdel Wahhab’s appearance came as one of the most prominent surprises of the “Night of Tears”, as she suddenly rose to the stage to the audience, as her name had not previously been announced in the concert program.
The name of Sherine, the social media platforms, was issued after her participation in the ceremony, as it was her first appearance after rumors about the last period, and she also performed an amazing performance on the stage, which was widely praised by the public, in addition to her regaining fitness again.
Sherine sang during a concert, the “Jeddah Summer 2023” season, a number of her distinguished works, including “Mashaer”, “Keda Ya Qalbi”, “Forget Me”, “Don’t Account Me”, “Saaban Said On Him” and “Jarh Tani”.
On the sidelines of “Night of Tears,” actor Mohamed Jumaa, the performer of the character “Uncle Diaa,” the owner of the famous “Al-Afeh” “Kolh Rayeh,” in the series “The Will” in 2018, was a guest at the party.
The artist, Mohy Ismail, also appeared on the “Benchmark” stage, as part of the surprises of the ceremony, and presented a satirical poem, entitled “We are sad because we cry.”
While the artist, Rami Sabry, participated, remotely, in the ceremony, as he was not present on the stage, while he presented a video from his home, singing “Maybe Good”, which was previously released a few weeks ago.
