Michael Unsworth, who was involved in writing the script for Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2, judging by his personal page on LinkedInleft Rockstar – he worked at the company for 16 years.
For the last two years, Michael Unsworth has served as VP of Screenwriting, prior to which he also held senior screenwriting roles. In addition to the Red Dead Redemption series, he was also responsible for the story of Grand Theft Auto 5, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Max Payne 3.
Michael Unsworth isn’t the only Rockstar veteran to leave the studio in recent years. In 2020, one of its founders, Dan Houser, left Rockstar. Together with him, in 2020, Lazlo Jones also left his position, having worked in the company for 20 years.
