DAZN takes over football platform
More precisely, it is about the women’s football platform “Ata Football”. In the past, DAZN had invested more and more in women’s sports and only recently announced its cooperation with Pluto TV (more on this here). And now, with the takeover of the platform, they have underlined their position as the “worldwide home of women’s football”, as stated in a statement.

Ata Football features live matches from the top European leagues. For the German fans there are, among other things, the games of the French and Italian women’s leagues. Other countries can even look forward to more rights.
The streaming service wants to use the portal to build an independent women’s sports vertical within the company. The two founders of the portal, Esmeralda Negron and Hannah Brown, both remain on board and switch to DAZN. “In recent years we have seen the rise of women’s football in Europe’s richest clubs, significant investment and development of leagues in all markets, exponential growth in national team football and the advancement of women across the region.
