New Carabineros infrastructure advances with three projects in Ñuble – La Discusión

Works implied an investment by the Regional Government amounting to $759,889,513, for an area that covers more than 470 square meters.

Pinto has a new Police Department, which was inaugurated by the governor of Ñuble, Óscar Crisóstomo, accompanied by the head of the XVI Zone of Police, General María Teresa Araya, who carried out the traditional ribbon-cutting of the works that reach a surface of 473 square meters. The investment by the Regional Government of Ñuble reached $759,889,513, an amount that includes civil works, equipment and consultancy.

The governor commented: “we inaugurated the Pinto Tenancy built with funds from the Regional Government, which has been able to recover a very important infrastructure, with a capacity for 16 police officers who are constantly protecting the security of the Pinto commune. This is in addition to the efforts we are making at the Huambalí Sub-Commission Station and at Tres Esquinas de Cato, where we are in full swing and hope to start work in Ránquil soon. We have also contributed rolling stock, motorcycles and the 51 vehicles financed by the Regional Government, which reaffirms our commitment to provide peace of mind and security to our region and to be a strategic partner of the Carabineros de Chile, with whom we work hand in hand, day by day. day, in order to provide security to the inhabitants of our region.”

General Araya affirmed: “We are very happy because it is an important milestone for the institutional infrastructure and here in the commune of Pinto, a main link is the Tenancy, which is modern, with quite an important infrastructure capacity, it is almost 470 square meters where there is also a concept of sustainability, (…) to a certain extent, these new dependencies are a house where all our neighbors from Pinto will be welcomed and it is a quite significant investment by the Regional Government”.

The mayor of the commune, Marcelo Ojeda, described it as “a very important achievement for us, because the neighbors are going to benefit from this and the police are going to have some dependencies to be able to be at work and obviously happy as a new house (…) so happy to be able to receive the authorities, the governor, the general and all those who were at this inauguration so important for the commune”.

In addition to the Pinto Tenancy project, the replacement of the Huambalí Subcommission Station, which reaches 94% progress, and the works of the Cato Checkpoint with 89% execution, infrastructure for Police officers financed by the Regional Government of Ñuble .
