Carlos Slim Foundation Launches ‘Pilots for Road Safety’ Program to Promote a Life-Saving Road Culture

Carlos Slim Foundation launched the program “Pilots for Road Safety” thanks to the collaboration with various public and private institutions, in order to promote a road culture in drivers, pedestrians and passengers that saves lives.

Through the online platform of the same name and which forms an integral part of this program, it is possible to access the section Vial educationwhich is divided into 8 themes that provide important information to develop an adequate road culture among the general population.

Such topics include the following:

  1. What is the road safety? It shows a list of basic definitions of road safety and the key aspects related to driver education and traffic safety.
  2. Cyclist. Allows access to a series of recommendations for riding a bicycle, all taken from the Urban Cyclist Manual.
